    What is Yamaha Extended Service (Y.E.S.)?
    Yamaha Extended Service (Y.E.S.) is an extended warranty plan that is offered by Yamaha exclusively for Yamaha products and administered by Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA. The length of the Y.E.S. plan is in addition to your existing factory warranty.
    Most Yamaha products come with a limited factory warranty that covers the repair of defects in materials and workmanship from the factory for a limited period of time. After the warranty expires, the cost of those repairs becomes the responsibility of the owner. By adding Y.E.S. to extend the warranty coverage, the customer continues to get genuine Yamaha warranty coverage after the limited factory warranty expires.
    Benefits of Yamaha Extended Service
    Full Coverage, {{detail_product_description}} Deductible
    : The Y.E.S. contract provides full coverage in the result of a mechanical failure due to defects in materials or faulty workmanship. Yamaha will, at no cost to the customer, repair or replace any part determined to be defective when the covered unit is made available for repairs at any Yamaha dealership nationwide.
    Factory
    Quality Repairs
    : To maintain the high quality of all Yamaha products, all warrantable repairs are made exclusively by factory-authorized Yamaha dealers using only genuine Yamaha replacement parts.
    Transferability
    :
    The Y.E.S. contract can be transferred from the original owner to a subsequent owner of the same unit, increasing its resale value. Y.E.S coverage cannot be transferred from the original unit to a different unit.
    Towing Reimbursement
    : If you must have your unit towed to a Yamaha dealer for warrantable repairs, Yamaha will reimburse at least a portion, if not all, of the towing expense.
    TRIP (Travel & Recreation Interruption Protection)
    : Yamaha provides reimbursement up to a set dollar limit for legitimate expenses related to a covered failure, including unexpected meals or lodging, alternate transportation, or towing charges beyond the standard towing reimbursement. The benefit of TRIP begins at the time Y.E.S. is purchased even when the unit is still in its factory warranty period!
    Buyer Instructions & Responsibilities
    Click the “Buy It Now” button and complete the purchase. Once purchase has been completed, go to the order in your My eBay Summary and select “Contact Seller”. Please provide us with:
    Your first and last name
    Your current address
    The vehicle identification number (VIN) of the unit you are covering.
    Once that information is provided, we will verify unit eligibility and will register the Y.E.S. coverage within 24 business hours. We will notify you once Y.E.S. coverage is applied and you will receive your contract and paperwork via USPS Priority Mail in 7-10 days.
    To receive the full value of warranty coverage, the buyer should:
    Operate and maintain the unit properly, using the instructions and guidelines in the Owner’s Manual for that product.
    Bear the cost of regular service and maintenance, as well as the replacement costs of normal wear items. This also included teardown and/or inspection costs for a suspected warranty issue the proves to not be warrantable.
    Present the unit to an authorized Yamaha dealer within 10 days after noticing a suspected defect.
    Assume the responsibility for repair of failures or damage caused by abuse, neglect, or accidents, as well as incidental and consequential costs caused by such failures or damage.
    Warranty Limitations & Exclusions
    Y.E.S is a defect-related program (like the factory warranty). Y.E.S. does not cover regular maintenance or normal wear and tear. Some common limitation and exclusions from warranty coverage are:
    Routine Maintenance Items
    :
    Spark plugs, filters, gaskets, coolant, hoses, belts, lubricants, brake pads, light bulbs, clutch plates and other items affected by normal wear and tear.
    General Exclusion Items
    :
    Failure due to lack of proper maintenance or improper maintenance; neglect, misuse and abuse; accidents, vandalism, fire, flood, or theft; deterioration from adverse weather conditions; improper installation of parts and accessories; improper modifications; installation of racing or performance parts; damage due to improper transportation; repairs covered by and aftermarket or accessory warranty.

    This Y.E.S. warranty coverage is not available to Florida residents.

    Cancellation Policy
    Our Y.E.S. warranty cancellation policy is 30 days from the date of purchase. If a cancellation request has not been created by the buyer within 30 days of purchase, unfortunately we cannot process your request and offer you a refund.
    Once a return/cancellation request has been submitted in eBay, we will process your request and issue you a refund of the purchase price less a administrative fee.
