Additional Info:
This is a good playing little EEb tuba!  It needs a minor repair for the crack in the top body bow.  It plays fine as it is but that should be repaired so it does not spread.  As you can see in the pictures there is a buffed spot where the lead pipe attaches to the bell.  We believe that is because the lead pipe was replaced (see pics).  As you can see in the engraving it is a Holton Collegiate from Elkhorn, Wisconsin and the mouthpiece receiver says Made in France leading us to believe that mouthpiece receiver was a replacement.  The serial number we found is from the mouthpiece receiver as we did not locate a serial number on the body of the instrument anywhere.  These EEb tubas are always nice to play on!  With a smaller bore it is easier for a smaller player to immediately get a good sound.  The smaller build is an added bonus for those who may want a smaller sized Tuba as well.

It has approximately 50-55% of the lacquered finish
Player Wear:
Light to Medium general wear (visible surface scratches and wear and/or small-medium dents and dings)
Valve Condition:
All the valves are in good working condition and some of the tuning slides are stuck
Lead Pipe Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings) it is likely a replacement lead pipe
Body Condition:
Good
Metal Condition:
There is one break at the top bow of the body (see pics)
Outside Body Bow Condition:
Has a light to medium dent in the outside bow with a couple of small dings and dents (See Pics)
The Bell:
Minor dents and dings and no evidence of bell edge damage (See Pics)
Bell Dent Removal/Repair:
No evidence
The Bottom Bow:
Has a light dent in the bow guard with a small ding (See Pics)
Re-soldered:
Several (See Pics) the bell to the inside body needs to be re-soldered and the top brace of the main tuning slide to the bell throat needs to be re-soldered (see pics).

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
