Valves have been oiled and tuning slides move freely. This horn was recently play tested by our local brass repair technicians who said, "Surprisingly good tone for a Chinese made instrument at this price. Intonation is decent and plays nicely with a smaller mouthpiece which is why we recommend it for a beginner."
