  • Condition: B stock horn by Kanstul for the Tama brand. This is a new horn, it was displayed by Tama and used as a show horn. This is the convertible version of the horn however the symphonic leadpipe and slide are not included. It is only possible to use it as a Marching horn without these parts. Tama has since gotten out of the brass business and Kanstul has closed it's doors. The tuba shows signs of being handled. It has cosmetic scuffs and had some light dent work performed. Pictures give the best cosmetic description. Case is 100% functional but has scuffs and dings in the cover.

    Tama partnered with famous brass maker Kanstul to produce this premium line of marching brass instruments. Unfortunately the Kanstul Company has closed. Tama had a few of these instruments left in their warehouse, we were able to procure them all and sell them here on eBay at a fraction of the original price.They may have some tiny scuffs but are brand new instruments. They are sold without manufacturer's warranty because the manufacturer is gone.

In less than 10 minutes, the instrument is transformed from a state-of-the-art Marching Tuba to a Symphonic Tuba worthy of any concert stage. Only the Tama by Kanstul Tuba inverts the valve section of the instrument, which makes the hand position equally comfortable in both concert and marching configurations. Outstanding intonation is achieved with the tune-any-note feature.
